DR. CRISTINA PADILLA, DC

I have a mission to serve women and children during the most important stages of their lives

ICPA & Webster Certified - specific training in adjusting techniques, evaluation, and assessment of different stages of development: from pregnancy, birth, infancy throughout childhood.

BirthFit! Coach - an integrated wellness program for women that encompasses fitness, mind, and whole-body health in the prenatal and postpartum period, as well as additional postpartum training.

Certified in Craniosacral Technique - in 2021 was certified as a Pediatric Chiropractor by the CACCP, a designation only less than 5 Chiropractors posses in NE Florida.

Dr. Cristina Padilla Bravo, DC was born and raised in Puerto Rico where she completed her Bachelor’s in
Biology at the University of Puerto Rico. In 2014, she graduated from New York Chiropractic College in
Seneca Falls NY with a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine.


In 2017, with the mission of serving women and children during the most important stages of their lives,
Dr. Padilla founded Thrive Family Chiropractic, a house call practice, in order to provide direct,
personalized Chiropractic care to families, within the comfort of their home.

Currently, she serves families in Duval County for house calls and has an office in the San Marco area. 


It is her mission to improve the quality of life of children and women during pregnancy and birth and
create a space for families to feel safe, respected, and empowered within their health journey.

 

Dr. Padilla has dedicated the last few years to expanding her training in pediatric and women’s care by becoming a
Birthfit! Coach, an integrated wellness program for women that encompasses fitness, mind and body
health in the prenatal and postpartum period, as well as additional postpartum training from the
Institute for Birth Healing and Dr. Nichelle Gurule.

Over the last few years, Dr. Padilla has been involved in the local business and non-profit space by serving
as a 3-time President of the River City BNI Chapter in Jacksonville, FL. She was appointed Board Member for the Sanctuary on 8th Street, a non-profit organization that provides after school programs for at-risk youth in NE Florida.

 

Additionally, she serves on the board of the Women Chiropractors non-profit organization since 2021. Dr Padilla herself was the 2020 winner of the Linda Atkinson scholarship for her efforts in promoting women’s health in the community.
